GateWay is proud to welcome David Allison as the new head coach for the men’s cross country team’s 2007 season.  Coach Allison has over 13 years of coaching experience at all levels, and is a talented marathon runner himself.  He is excited and is committed to continuing GateWay’s tradition of cross country excellence.  You can find more information about Coach Allison in the Athletic Directory.

In the 2006 season, the Gecko cross country team once again found success as they made their fourth straight appearance at the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) National Tournament.  The Geckos placed ninth at last year’s tournament in El Paso, Texas.  Alonso Contreras was awarded his second straight NJCAA All-American award and finished tenth overall in the National Tournament.
