Byrce is the son of Perry and Judy Bohl. He has one sister and enjoys playing basketball and hanging out with friends. A well accomplished two-sport athlete in high school, Bohl was named to the North Dakota All-State Golf team in both his junior and senior year. He was named as the North Dakota State Senior Golfer of the Year and was also named to the All-Conference team for basketball.
