The women's tennis team completed a positive 2007 season by placing fourth at the ACCAC Regional Tournament.  This season's finish is the highest in GateWay women’s tennis history.  Freshman Becky Smith, who competed at the #3 singles position, finished as a finalist in the tournament.

The Lady Geckos will spend the 2008 season recruiting and expanding their program without participating in league play. They will resume matches in the 2008-2009 season, at which time they are proud to welcome Matt Tully as their new head coach. Coach Tully also directs the men's tennis team, and he looks forward to leading both teams to victory in the ACCAC.
